Art Gallery
The Bega Valley Regional Gallery is one of 40 regional galleries in New South Wales. Despite being the smallest, it attracts more than 10,000 visitors every year through a comprehensive schedule of exhibitions and public programs.


Becoming a Citizen
How to become an Australian Citizen Citizen. Ceremonies are held in the Shire every two months with special ceremonies also conducted each Australia Day.


CDSE Funding - What is it?
The Community Development and Support Expenditure (CDSE) scheme is a statewide initiative that recognises clubs’ significant financial support for projects and services that contribute to the wellbeing of their communities


Community Directory
The Directory contains contact details for over 550 local services (& thousands of NSW and ACT organisations) including: community services, emergency services, council services, arts and culture organisations, education options, health services and some sporting organisations.

Your library offers you a large collection of books (also large print in both fiction and non-fiction) videos, cd's, magazines, children's books, toys and puzzles, dvd's, pamphlets, talking books, cd rom's Language cassettes and the internet. 



People with a Disability
Access Maps - The map aims to provide a guide for people with limited mobility to accessible, parking and other facilities.  It has been compiled by the Access and Equity Committee of Bega Valley Shire Council and will be reviewed as required.


Rainwater Tank Rebate
NSW Government Climate Change Fund has been established to help businesses, households and government save energy and water.


Rural Addressing
A means of identifying, locating and addressing rural properties.


Social Planning
Social planning is one tool used by local government to identify, analyse and respond to a variety of social and community needs.


South East Arts Region
The Regional Arts Development Organisation for South East NSW SEAR (South East Arts Region) is a non profit incorporated association that provides regional arts funding advice and development programs for the five Local Government Authorities of Bega Valley, Bombala, Cooma Monaro, Eurobodalla and Snowy River.

Venues for Hire
Community Halls are available for hire by the public and community/sporting organisations for private and public functions including weddings, birthdays, engagement parties, performances, public seminars, graduations and even dancing competitions.

The Regional Gallery is also available for hire.
