Access Bega Valley eResources

NSW.net is a network that
links councils and public libraries
throughout New South Wales to the Internet.
It provides:
-
councils and libraries
with affordable access to the Internet
-
people across the
State with greater access to the
Internet via the distribution of over
700 PCs for Internet Access in public
libraries
-
public libraries and
their clients with free access to
quality online information resources
including the Health and Wellness
Resource Center and the ANZ
Reference Centre.
NSW.net is managed by the
State Library of New South Wales in
consultation with the Public Libraries
Consultative Committee which is a
sub-committee of the Library Council of New
South Wales.

ANZ Reference Centre/MasterFILE
Premier/Consumer Health Complete
ANZ Reference Centre is a
general database of Australian and international
content with articles in health, current
affairs, science, social science, business and
literature.
Designed specifically for public libraries, the
MasterFILE Premier database provides full text
for more than 2,100 general reference
publications with full text information dating
as far back as 1975.

Online
Encyclopędia Britannica Online
includes the complete encyclopedia, as well as
Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and
Thesaurus, Britannica Student Encyclopedia and
the Britannica Book of the Year.

web-based service for researching and monitoring
news and business information

Health and Wellness Resource
Center
An online collection of
resources and information on a wide variety of
health and health-related topics and alternative
or complementary treatments.

Literature Resource Center
Online collection of
traditional literary reference works,
contemporary literacy criticism on authors and
their works, current journal articles plus other
resources.

NSW Family History Document
Service
This service provides you with
images of historical documents which contain
information which can help you trace people who
lived and worked in New South Wales during the
period 1850 - 1920. These records complement and
build on information you can obtain from the
Pioneers and Births, Deaths and Marriages
indexes and the Genealogical Research Kit.

Science Resource Center is an
in-depth, curriculum-oriented science database
that provides a one-stop resource for all
science-related research needs.
