Community Profile
The Bega Valley Shire Community profile is
an overview of the Shire’s population and also includes socio economic
information. It includes profiles of individual localities and groups
within the community.
Primarily based on statistics from the
Australian Bureau of Statistics 2001 census, the Community Profile is
useful for people wanting to better understand the make–up and changing
nature of the Shire.
The profile has been developed as a
companion document to the Social Plan (2006-2011).
