Place the bins so that the BVSC
logo on the front of the bin is facing the road.
Avoid placing the bin near trees,
mailboxes and parked cars.
Do not overfill the bins. Ensure
the lid can close fully and the bin is a reasonable
weight. As a guide it should not exceed 70kg.
Space bins at least 30cm (1 foot)
apart to allow the truck enough room for pick up.
If you have excess waste, take it
to a Waste Disposal and Recycling Facility.
Additional household or commercial waste services
can be arranged and charged at the appropriate rate
if you make a request in writing.
Bins are allocated to each
property. If you move, do not take the bins with
you.
Maintain the bins – check wheels
and pins in the lid. If a bin is stolen, damaged or
not emptied on your allocated day please contact the
Waste Hotline.
