Garden Organics Collection Service

The monthly garden organics collection service has been extended to all ‘domestic’ residents in urban areas and villages (except Bemboka, Wyndham, Towamba and Wonboyn). All residents in the collection area will be provided with a new 240L, green lidded, garden organics bin.

Bega Valley Shire residents can also take their excess garden organics to any of Council’s Recycling and Waste Depots. Mulch is also available from Bermagui, Eden, Merimbula and Wallagoot Depots (see Recycling and Waste Facilities page for more details).

Residents can place the following items in their garden organics bin:

Bins are to be placed out no later than 6am on your collection day,
and must be removed from the kerbside the day it has been serviced.

These items contaminate your garden organics and must NOT be placed in your garden organics bin.
