Replace your weedy garden plants with plants that will not jump the
garden fence.
Bega Valley Shire Council in conjunction with the Southern Rivers
Catchment Management Authority and four other council’s has produced
this great booklet ‘Grow Me Instead’
This booklet aims to empower gardeners to make informed choices about
what to plant. The booklet covers the NSW South Coast, from Wollongong
to the Victorian border.
This booklet promotes the use of local native plants and also
provides a range of suggested alternatives including introduced species
("exotics") and Australian plants.
By making better choices you can help preserve our native flora and
fauna.
