We are seeking someone to coordinate
and facilitate the activities of Council's volunteers and implement a
new volunteer management system.

You will represent Council at public
forums and meetings.

You will have detailed understanding of
the social and economic needs of communities in the Bega Valley
Shire, including disadvantaged community groups.

You will have the ability to relate to and
understand the needs of the public.

You will be able to work effectively as
part of a team.

An opportunity exists within the
Merimbula Water & Sewerage Services Team for an innovative and practical
person. The duties involve operation, maintenance and construction work
associated with Council’s water supply and sewerage systems.

You will be leading a self managed team
and will be expected to be a co-operative and active team leader,
who is willing to be flexible, supportive and committed to working
in a team environment.

A trades-based background with experience
in water and sewerage operations will be highly regarded. Applicants
must be computer literate with well developed written and verbal
communication skills.
