Proposed Sister City Relationship, Bega and Ordos (Inner Mongolia)

October 6, 2009: Bega Valley Shire Council has been approached by representatives from the area of Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China with a view to forming a sister city relationship with Bega and/or the Bega Valley area.

Professor Graham McDowell gave a presentation to Councillors on the benefits of such a relationship early in September and Councillors have arranged for a further presentation to be held on: Tuesday 27 October, 4 pm in the Bega Council Chambers.
