The Bega Valley Regional Gallery
is one of approximately 40 regional galleries in New South Wales. Despite
being the smallest, it attracts more than 8,000 visitors every year through
a comprehensive schedule of exhibitions and public programs.
The gallery presents a robust
variety of regional, state and national touring exhibitions and also stores
the permanent collections belonging to the Bega Valley Shire Council and the
Bega Art and Craft Society, which are exhibited in the Gallery Foyer on a
rotational basis.
In addition to a changing annual
program of exhibitions and public programs, the Bega Valley Regional Gallery
hosts two biennial exhibitions on a ‘year about’ basis:
The gallery is open
10am-4pm Tuesday to Friday and 9am-12pm Saturdays and there is plenty of car
parking nearby.
