Making a submission
Council encourages members of the public/community to take the opportunity to read, examine or make a submission on information that is placed on public exhibition.
Public comments and submissions allow Council to incorporate community opinion into final documents or decisions.
Submissions must be lodged with Council in writing within the specified advertised time period.
To lodge your comments / submissions please send them to:

The advertised DAs have been notified and/or advertised in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Council’s policies.
Proposed developments that are advertised are available for public viewing online using Council’s DA Tracker
If you do not have access to a computer, ‘public access’ computers are available at Tura Marrang, Bega, Bermagui and Eden libraries to view this information..
- Bega Library: Zingel Place, Bega
- Bermagui library: Bermagui Community Centre, Bunga Street, Bermagui
- Eden library: Corner Mitchell and Imlay Streets, Eden
- Tura Marrang library: 3-7 Tura Beach Drive Tura Beach
Note: If you make a submission you are required to disclose information about any political donations or gifts. This includes:
- All reportable political donations made to any local Councillor of Council
- All gifts made to any local Councillor or employee of Council, within a period of two years before the application is made
If you have any disclosures, please fill out the Disclosure Form and return to council with your submission.
