Bega residents are reminded of a chance to have their say on local issues at an upcoming Councillor Roving Workshop next week.
Council’s Roving workshop program has provided a valuable source of information both for and from the community, with people invited to present on local issues and quiz Councillors on a wide range of topics during a question and answer session.
Mayor, Michael Britten said the Bega workshop will feature a Council presentation on its Annual Report, financials and Quarterly Budget Review Statement.
“This is an opportunity for the community to learn about the complexities of Council’s financial activity presented in clear and easy to understand way,” he said.
The Bega workshop will be held at 4pm on Wednesday 2 December at the Bega Valley Shire Council chambers. The Annual Report and financial presentation will start at 4:30pm.
