Paws 'n' Tales - Pet Assisted Literacy for Children

Paws ‘n’ Tales is an innovative and exciting literacy initiative for children who may be experiencing reading difficulties, lack motivation or have other health issues. The Paws ‘n’ Tales program is dedicated to helping children reach their full literacy potential, to find a love of books and a passion for reading.  We are calling for Volunteers and Participants!  Are you and your dog interested in volunteering with us?  Would you like to register your child to participate in the programme?  Click here to learn more .

My Next Read

Are you looking for your next great read? Are you overwhelmed by the vast amount of books and would just like to find the gem among the stones? Would you like a librarian to recommend some books for you? Bega Valley Shire Library is now offering a personalised readers advisory service to all our members. All you need to do is fill in this form  and tell us a bit about your reading preferences. A librarian will then search through the sea of available books and create a personalised list of reading suggestions just for you.
