Valley Fields included in sporting masterplans

Thursday 3 September 2015

Bega Valley Shire Council is currently undertaking master planning for the Bega Recreation Grounds. The initial consultation has identified the benefit of including the Keith Mitchell/Roy Howard Fields (‘Valley Fields’) in the scope of the project.

Specialist recreation planning consultants ROSS Planning are undertaking the work behalf of Council. They will be hosting a community meeting to discuss the current and future use and development of the Keith Mitchell/Roy Howard Fields with interested community members. Details of the workshop are:

  • Wednesday 9th September at 5:30pm, in the Bega Valley Shire Council’s Committee Rooms.

When complete the master plans will guide the future use and development of these sporting facilities to ensure they meet the current and identified future needs of the community.

For those that aren’t able to make it to the workshop there are online surveys available for both individuals and user groups to have input and make a contribution to master planning consultation.
