Council's phone still down

Council has been experiencing telecommunications issues this morning which are directly affecting our incoming and outgoing telephone services.

Wednesday 20 July 2016

UPDATE 9.30am 21.07.2016: Council's phone services are back up and running. Thank you for your patience.

Bega Valley Shire Council has been experiencing telecommunications issues today which are directly affecting our ability to provide information via our Customer Contact Centre

We are keeping in touch with our telecommunications service provider, which is endeavouring to restore services as soon as possible.  At this stage we do not expect that the issue will be resolved until later today.

Our customers are still able to email Council.  We have also implemented arrangements to allow partial telephone service.

Customers will be experiencing longer than usual call wait times.  We ask for your patience while we wait for this issue to be resolved.
