Background

Bicentennial Park is not only a great place for visitors to stop and relax, it provides a fantastic asset for the local community, especially considering its proximity to Bemboka Public School and the Bemboka Public Pool.

Bega Valley Shire Council earmarked the following asset upgrades for Bicentennial Park, Bemboka;

• Ageing playground and play equipment (play equipment to be replaced)
• Pioneer Heritage Trail (Upgrade and possible extension)
• Existing BBQ, picnic table and shelters to be replaced
• Pathways connecting disabled parking bay to playground and picnic area
• Landscaping (incl. treatment of eroded gully)
