Bega Library will be holding a HSC Lockdown before this year’s HSC exams coming up in October.
The HSC Lockdown provides time and place for local student sitting the 2015 HSC exams to study in groups, with friends or by themselves in the Bega library.
Librarian, Anne Moore said Bega library held their second HSC Lockdown last year in July and students have since asked for it to be held again before the next round of HSC exams.
“I received such a lot of positive feedback from the students who attended last year’s Lockdown that I thought I would hold one again this October,” she said.
“The majority of students who attended last year’s Lockdown were from Bega High School but we want to encourage as many students from the local area to join in.
“I’m hoping to have at least one teacher attend on the night to help the students with their studies, so please spread the word to any young person in the local area doing their HSC and get them to come along!” Ms Moore said.
The next HSC Lockdown will be held on Wednesday 7 October from 5.30pm until 8.30pm at the Bega library.
