Two great opportunities to find out what’s happening with major developments in Eden are taking place next week.
An Eden Harbour information session on Monday and a return of the Council roving workshop on Wednesday will give Eden residents the chance to learn and talk about big changes affecting the town’s future.
On Monday September 7, from 4pm – 8pm a community information session highlighting developments in Eden Harbour will be held at the Eden Fishermen’s Recreation club.
A variety of stall holders including Department of Primary Industries, Bega Valley Shire Council, Port Authority of NSW and Eden Chamber of Commerce will be at the information session, providing the community with the opportunity to ask questions and share their views.
On Wednesday September 9, Council is back at Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club to host the first of the Spring season Council Roving Workshops.
Councillors and senior staff will be welcoming the community to attend a general community Q&A session from 4pm – 5pm.
From 5:30pm – 7:00pm a community meeting will be held at the same venue to open up the conversation on the future of Hotel Australasia.
General Manager, Leanne Barnes said the information session and roving workshop are two great ways to learn about Eden’s changing landscape.
“These are two great opportunities for the Eden community to hear from a wide range of stakeholders on a number of issues. Council will be there to share information and, most importantly, to listen to what the community has to say,” she said.
