As part of ongoing roadside maintenance Council weed sprayers will commence spraying verges along sealed roadways in Buckajo during October and November 2023.
The chemical to be used is Glyphosate, in order to control perennial weeds.
All roads north of Brogo Bridge, Mogareeka and all roads south of Pambula and Myrtle Mountain. October 2023 to June 2024
The chemicals to be used are Glyphosate, Aminopyralid, Picloram, Triclopyr, Metsulfuron and Flupropanate in order to control perennial weeds such as:
Spraying will be conducted under strict supervision and guidelines.
NOTE: Spot-spraying of weeds may be carried out in other areas as appropriate. Weed control as part of general maintenance of roads and road shoulders may be carried out in other areas as part of the roads program. The weed program is dependent on weather conditions and may be varied according to weed growth.
