Operating hours over Easter and Anzac Day

Bega Valley Shire Council offices will close at 4.30pm tomorrow (Thursday 18 April) to observe public holiday closures over Easter.

Bega Valley Shire Council offices will close at 4.30pm tomorrow (Thursday 18 April) to observe public holiday closures over Easter.

Additionally, the Union Picnic Day Holiday will be held on Tuesday 23 April.

Council offices will re-open at 9.00am on Wednesday 24 April. Shire libraries will operate as normal from Wednesday 24 April.

  • Shire waste transfer stations (tips) will be closed Good Friday (19 April). Otherwise, regular opening hours apply as listed on the website at www.begavalley.nsw.gov.au/waste
  • Bin collection will occur as normal, including on Good Friday.
  • The Sapphire Aquatic Centre will be closed on Good Friday only, with the centre to be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10.00am - 5.00pm.
  • Eden Early Learning Centre and Bandara Children’s Services will close for Easter, re-opening on Tuesday 23 April.
  • The Bega Valley Regional Gallery will be closed through until Friday 26 April.
  • Council offices will also be closed on Anzac Day, Thursday 25 April.

For emergencies during the Easter period and Anzac Day, phone Council’s after-hours service on 6499 2222.
