Eden Log Cabin - community venue

The Log Cabin is an authentic example of a Canadian Log Cabin and is surrounded by a large landscaped garden area with shady trees and extensive lawns providing an ideal venue for committee meetings, art displays, educational classes, public meetings or family events.

Eden Log Cabin is accessed from Bass Street just off the main street of Eden.

Built in 1937 based on a Canadian Log Cabin it is surrounded by a large, landscaped garden with shade trees and extensive lawns. Both the gardens and Cabin provide an ideal venue for committee meetings,displays, educational classes, club meetings, craft workshops, or family events.

Facilities available at this venue include:

  • Men’s and Ladies toilets
  • Total licensed capacity – 60 persons 
  • Seating capacity – 30 persons
  • Ceiling fans
  • Hot water
  • Fully equipped semi-commercial quality kitchen including stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, large sink and stainless steel benches.

The Eden Log Cabin Committee is a community committee whose roles and responsibilities as delegated by Council include the general care and maintenance of the facility and the management of facility bookings.
