Club Grants help make a difference
Local organisations who want to make a difference in their communities are encouraged to apply for funds through the ClubGRANTS Program.

Local organisations who want to make a difference in their communities are encouraged to apply for funds through the ClubGRANTS Program.
Grants of up to $10,000 are available for projects that improve community wellbeing and address social issues in the Bega Valley Shire.
Michael Mutsch, Merimbula RSL General Manager and Chair of the Bega Valley ClubsGRANT committee said that in 2015 local organisations received more than $91,000 in funding through this scheme.
“These projects are making a real difference on the ground and we look forwarding to supporting more worthy projects in 2016,” he said.
ClubGRANTS is a shared State Government and club industry program, funded by a gaming machine tax rebate to those registered clubs with gaming machine profits in excess of $1 million.
Eight local clubs and the Bega Valley Shire Council are represented on the local ClubsGRANT committee - Bermagui Country Club, Club Bega, Club Sapphire, Eden Fishermen's Recreation Club, Merimbula RSL, Pambula Merimbula Golf Club, Tathra Beach Bowling Club and Tura Beach Country Club.

Applications under the ClubsGRANTs Category 1 funding scheme close on 3 May.
