About Us
Bega Valley Shire Council has been providing disability services to residents of the Shire since 1992.
Our team has extensive local knowledge. We specialise in coordinating services for people living with a disability who have complex needs and want greater independence.
We can assist if you:
- have an approved NDIS plan
- are aged from 8 up to 64
- live in the Bega Valley Shire
- need Support Coordination (case management) or Plan Management (financial intermediary services) in your NDIS plan
When to contact us
If you are:
- unsure how to put your NDIS plan into effect
- needing a variety of services coordinated to meet your individual needs or resolve points of crisis (case management)
- needing help to identify your options
- needing help to obtain the services or equipment you need
- needing help to manage part or all of your NDIS funded supports
- needing help accessing services outside your NDIS plan

What will it cost?
Your NDIS plan includes a budget for services to deliver on your goals. So as long as the services you need are included in your NDIS plan budget you will not have to pay any out of pocket expenses.
Support Coordination and Plan Management services are provided at the price set annually by the National Disability Insurance Agency [insert link to NDIS price guide: www.ndis.gov.au/providers/price-guides-and-pricing
Our NDIS Services: Capacity Building Supports
Support Coordination (Support Category 7)
Our case managers can help individuals, families and carers juggle the different agencies involved in an NDIS Participant's care. They can assist by:
- visiting you at home
- linking you to a range of home and community services to help you achieve your goals
- working with you and your carers to identify and respond to your changing needs
- strengthening your ability to self-manage your NDIS plan
- ensuring that your support networks are working well
Plan Management Services
If you want help to achieve your goals and live life without the concern of claiming from the National Disability Insurance Agency, we can help manage some or all the funds in your NDIS plan. We can help by:
- making payments to service providers
- processing payments for services
- developing monthly statements and
- claiming for payments from the NDIA
