Staff shortage forces temporary closure of Waste and Recycling Centres
Due to ongoing staff shortages in Bega Valley Shire Council’s Waste Services team, some of the shire’s Waste and Recycling Centres will again be forced to reduce operating hours over the coming weeks.

Due to ongoing staff shortages in Bega Valley Shire Council’s Waste Services team, some of the shire’s Waste and Recycling Centres will again be forced to reduce operating hours over the coming weeks.
Waste and Recycling Centres affected include:
- Bermagui Waste and Recycling Centre. Closed on Saturday 13 April.
- Eden Waste and Recycling Centre. Closed on Sunday 14 April.
- Wallagoot Waste and Recycling Centre. Closed on Saturday 20 April.
- Eden Waste and Recycling Centre. Closed on Friday 26 April.
- Bermagui Waste and Recycling Centre. Closed on Saturday 27 April.
- Wallagoot Waste and Recycling Centre. Closed on Sunday 28 April.
Signage will be placed at all impacted sites notifying customers of the planned closures.
Notifications will also be placed on Council’s website and sent to customers via Council’s free Waste App.
