Bega Valley Shire Council announces that the following name has been proposed for a road within the Council boundaries.
Griffin Road, Greendale
- Locality: Greendale
- Background: The road name was proposed by the applicant and has been supported by Councillors at the Council meeting held 17 April 2024. The Griffin family are long standing members of the local community.The proposed road name complies with the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales guidelines and Council’s Road Naming Procedure 4.10.6.
- Reason for Proposal: The road will serve as the main point of acces to the subdivided land off Greendale Road, Greendale.
- Location: The road is located off Greendale Road, Greendale as defined on the map below with the associated plan of subdivision.
Any person may lodge a written submission regarding the proposal with Council within a period of fourteen (14) days.
Submissions are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Bega Valley Shire Council, PO Box 492, Bega NSW 2550 and are to be received before 4pm on 20 May 2024.
