Council operating hours over Easter and Union Picnic Day

Bega Valley Shire Council offices will be closed for the Easter long weekend and the annual Union Picnic Day on Tuesday 2 April.
Council offices will close at 4.30pm on Thursday 28 March and will re-open at 9am on Wednesday 3 April.
On Thursday 28 March, our customer service counter will remain open until 4.30pm, however calls will be diverted to our after-hours service due to staff training.
All shire libraries will be closed from Friday 29 March to Tuesday 2 April. Bega, Tura Marrang and Eden libraries will reopen at 10am on Wednesday 3 April and Bermagui library will reopen at 10am on Thursday 4 April. After-hours return bins will remain open over the weekend.
Shire waste transfer stations (tips) will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. On Easter Saturday and Easter Monday, sites that normally operate will open with reduced hours of 10am to 2.30pm. The Bermagui waste transfer station will be closed on Tuesday 2 April. Cleanaway kerbside bin collection will continue as normal.
Outdoor pools across the shire will close for the season from 6pm on Thursday 28 March. The Sapphire Aquatic Centre will close on Good Friday and remain open at reduced hours (10am to 5pm) from Saturday to Monday. Operating hours will return to normal on Tuesday 2 April.
SECCA will be closed over the Easter long weekend and re-open on Tuesday 2 April.
Children’s Services will close over the Easter long weekend and return to normal from Tuesday 2 April.
