A major facility providing access to Merimbula Lake and ocean, principally for recreational boating and in-shore and off-shore recreational fishing.

Access:

Access to the boat ramp is provided via a sealed road off Arthur Kaine Drive, to the parking area, then follow the foreshore to the boat ramp.

Launching Area:

The launching area is a concrete pad.

Facilities

Boat ramp: The existing boat ramp is a grooved reinforced concrete three (3) lane boat ramp

Pontoon / Jetty: A fibre reinforced plastic pontoon services this boat ramp

Wharf: None

Vehicle / Trailer Parking: Located on the extensive sealed and grassed area located between the boat ramp and the airport runway boundary fence

Public toilets: Located between the boat ramp and the vehicle/trailer parking area.

Waste disposal: Located in various locations around the facility

Fish cleaning facilities: Fish cleaning in the vicinity of the boat ramp is not permitted and a fish cleaning pontoon is located in Merimbula Lake for this purpose

Engine flush / Boat washing facilities: None
