Bega Valley Shire Council property owners receive four FREE waste vouchers each year to help dispose of household waste at Council Waste and Recycling Centres. Vouchers are issued annually in August and expire on 31 July of the following year.

Download and print or screenshot your vouchers directly from Council’s website.
3. Request paper vouchers
If you do not have access to a mobile phone, you can request paper vouchers to be mailed to you by completing the Request a Paper Voucher form or contact Council on (02) 6499 2222.
Important note: Vouchers are available to property owners. To access your free waste vouchers online or through the app, you must enter your property assessment number, which can be found on your rates notice.

Waste vouchers can be easily transferred between people and tenants. Property owners can share waste vouchers with tenants by:

A. Yes, contact Council on (02) 6499 2222 to request to be taken off the paper voucher list.
A. No, if you have already submitted the ‘Request a Paper Voucher’ form, it will be recorded on your rates assessment and automatically be posted to you each year.
A. Yes, you may present either a single or multiple waste vouchers for any single load.
A. You will need your property assessment number, which can be found on your rate notices.
A. Yes. Downloaded vouchers can be printed via our website
A. Yes. Vouchers can be transferred between people by sharing a screenshot of the electronic voucher or by providing a printed paper voucher. This allows vouchers to be passed on to family members, friends or tenants.
A. Vouchers can be used at our Waste and Recycling Centers across the Bega Valley Shire.
A. No credit is provided for loads presented which do not use the full dollar value of the voucher. Vouchers are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
