The Bega Valley Shire Council manages fourteen (14) cemeteries with a range of burial options including conventional, lawn, niche wall and memorial gardens.

Bemboka Cemetery

Just a short drive east of Bemboka, the Bemboka cemetery sits beneath Bemboka Peak and the Great Dividing Range. The Bemboka cemetery offers various burial options including conventional plots and a niche wall.

The cemetery offers ample parking.

Bega Cemetery

Located on the south side of Bega, the Bega cemetery with its peaceful outlook over the valley below, offers various burial options including conventional plots, niche wall, memorial garden and lawn cemetery.

The cemetery offers ample parking, a basic map and toilet on-site.

Bermagui Cemetery

Just a short drive south of Bermagui, the Bermagui cemetery is nestled amongst the coastal trees and offers various burial options including conventional plots, niche wall and memorial garden.

The Committee

The Bermagui Cemetery Committee is a community committee whose roles and responsibility as delegated by Council include the general care and maintenance of the cemetery.

Candelo Cemetery

Located just out of town, the Candelo cemetery with its peaceful outlook over the valley, is a small cemetery that offers insight into the area’s history and offers various burial options including conventional plots and a memorial garden.

Cobargo Cemetery

Located just out of town, the Cobargo cemetery is a small conventional cemetery.

Eden Cemetery

Located directly opposite Aslings beach, the Eden Cemetery is a true coastal cemetery that offers various burial options including conventional plots, niche wall, lawn and memorial garden.

There is ample parking, a basic map and toilets nearby.

Pambula Cemetery

Conveniently located between Pambula, Pambula Beach and Merimbula the Pambula cemetery offers various burial options including conventional plots, niche wall, memorial garden, and lawn cemetery.

Located in the small town of Quaama, the Quaama cemetery is a small conventional cemetery.

Rocky Hall Cemetery

Located in the isolated locality of Rocky Hall, the Rocky Hall cemetery is a small conventional cemetery.

Tantawangalo Cemetery

Just 12 minutes’ drive west of the township of Candelo, Tantawangalo Cemetery is located behind the old St Johns Anglican Church which is now privately owned. Access to the cemetery is via a new road on the south side of the old church. The cemetery is a small rural conventional cemetery.

Towamba Cemetery

Just outside of the isolated village of Towamba, the Towamba cemetery is nestled into the bush and offers a conventional burial option.

Located just off the Princes Hwy, the Wolumla cemetery is a rural conventional cemetery.

Wonboyn Lake Cemetery

Located just south of Eden nestled into coastal bushland is the beautiful Wonboyn Lake cemetery. Wonboyn Lake cemetery offers a conventional or a memorial garden burial option.
