Making a submission

Council encourages the community to take the opportunity to read, examine and make a submission on information that is placed on public exhibition.

Formal submissions allow Council to consider community feedback when making decisions

Submissions must be lodged with Council in writing within the specified period.

Proposed developments that are on public exhibition are available on Council’s DA Enquiry page.

The proposed developments have been notified and/or advertised in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Council’s policies.

If you do not have access to a computer, ‘public access’ computers are available at Tura Marrang, Bega, Bermagui and Eden libraries to view this information.

  • Bega Library: Zingel Place, Bega
  • Bermagui library: Bermagui Community Centre, Bunga Street, Bermagui
  • Eden library: Corner Mitchell and Imlay Streets, Eden
  • Tura Marrang library: 3-7 Tura Beach Drive Tura Beach

Note: If you make a submission you are required to disclose information about any political donations or gifts. This includes:

  • All reportable political donations made to any local Councillor or Council
  • All gifts made to any local Councillor or employee of Council, within a period of two years before the application is made
