2026/2027 Outdoor Pool Season

Outdoor Pools across the Shire are planned to re-open from 10am Saturday 3 October 2026 (Labour Day Long Weekend) for the season.

Bega War Memorial Swimming Pool, Bemboka, Candelo and Eden Memorial Pools are managed by Bega Valley Shire Council, along with Sapphire Aquatic Centre

Cobargo Swimming Pool continues to be managed by our local management contractor, Swansali Pty Ltd (Jim Gustard).

The Summer Season will run through to the end of March 2027.

Safety Update

In order to provide a safe environment for our staff and customers, when attending our facilities, please:

• Follow NSW Government restrictions and health advice
• Maintain good hygiene practices and follow physical distancing (1.5m) where possible.
• Do not visit our facilities if unwell, have flu-like symptoms, or have positive cases of communicable diseases and viruses
• Please respect and follow our conditions of entry, pool rules and all reasonable staff instructions

Outdoor Pools Entry Fees

As per the adopted BVSC Fees and Charges, please see updated swimming pool casual entry and season ticket prices (excludes SAC)

Season Pass: Adult/Single = $161.00 - Child/Concession = $136.00 - Family* = $320.00
*Family = 2 Adults and 3 Children/Concession (up to 18 years) or as listed on Medicare Card in same household

Shire wide Multipass (Booklet/10 tickets): Adult = $51.50 - Child/Concession = $45.00 - Family*= $168.00
Booklets expire at end of April each year. They can be purchased from the Bega Valley Shire Council in Bega, Sapphire Aquatic Centre and council managed swimming pools.

Who is eligible for concession entry to pools? Pensioner Concession Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, Seniors Card, DVA Health Card and Student Card is eligible. Free Admission to Carers (Accompanying Concession Card Holder) is also given.

EFTPOS Available at BVSC Managed Facilities: Bega, Bemboka, Candelo, Eden and SAC.
