Bega Valley Shire Council and Transport for NSW Local Government Road Safety Program are working together to do everything in our power to push the number of deaths on NSW roads towards zero, by monitoring local traffic laws, conducting awareness campaigns, providing workshops for drivers, and ensuring that roads are well-designed.
Everyone is affected by road safety. This applies to everyone riding a bike or scooter, walking, using public transportation, and driving.
For the purpose of ensuring road safety, we collaborate with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), law enforcement, schools, other councils, and the general public and are also a part of the Local Government Road Safety Program.
