Have chemicals you need to dispose of?
The correct way to dispose of potentially hazardous chemicals is through the Household Chemical CleanOut event.
The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, in conjunction with councils host Household Chemical Cleanout events annually.
Residents can bring their old and unwanted household chemicals, and they will be disposed and/or recycled for FREE!
You can drop off for free:
- Garden Chemicals
- Pool Chemicals
- Household Cleaners
- Hobby Chemicals
- Poisons
- Batteries
- Paint
- Motor Oils, Fluids and Fuels
- Fluoro Lights
- Gas Bottles
- Fire Extinguishers
- Smoke Detectors
Important: Only household quantities accepted (20L or 20kg), expect paint. Up to 100L (in 20L containers) of paint accepted. Please transport your materials carefully and remain in your vehicle at the collection site.
Trade painters can drop off up to 100 litres of paint thanks to Paintback.
