Plethora of Postcards - CALLING ALL ARTISTS

The Plethora of Postcards exhibition is happening this year at Spiral Gallery from June 12 – July 7, and artists are encouraged to start creating work for submission.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Postcards exhibition, and we are aiming to make it an extra special event.

Entries must be postcard-size (A6, or a quarter of an A4 page) and can be two-dimensional or three-dimensional. For three-dimensional works, the base size should be A6 sized and the work can extend upwards, but not outwards. But the rest is completely open to your own wild imaginings. Work can be drawn, painted, embroidered, collaged, welded, woven or whittled – it’s up to you!

This year, there are two special categories for entry, which are ‘In the Garden’ and ’15 Years … A Continuous Thread’, to celebrate the 15 wonderful years this exhibition has been running. In addition, there is also the general section where you can choose any subject matter you like.

Everyone is encouraged to enter – there are junior (under 12), Youth (12-18) and Adult categories. This is a much-loved intergenerational Bega Valley event, and we would love for you to be part of it.

Submissions are due Friday May 29th.
