SisterShip Training

SisterShip Training offers face-to-face, BOAT LICENCE courses to residents of the Bega Valley and wider NSW coastal region. We are an approved training provider under NSW Maritime, delivering knowledge testing required to obtain a legal boat licence (General Boat Licence, and optionally a PWC/jet-ski licence).

Our instructor team brings real-world experience from years on oceans and coastlines — in both recreational and commercial boating. Our courses draw on that background to give students realistic, hands-on training that prepares them thoroughly for both licence requirements and safe, confident boating.

What our courses cover

Theory and knowledge test preparation: We guide you through the boating laws, safety regulations, navigation rules, vessel operation basics, and all essential knowledge required for the NSW boat licence exam.
PWC (jet-ski / personal watercraft) licence option: For those interested, we also provide knowledge test and training to upgrade a general boat licence to include PWC endorsement — allowing safe and legal operation of jet skis on NSW waters.
Flexible delivery: Whether you are new to boating, experienced but needing formal licence, or someone seeking a refresher course. Our background as a training organisation with global maritime experience means we can support a wide range of students.
