Notification of a development

The type of notification that is required will depend on the type of development.

From 1 September 2026 all NSW councils are required to adhere to a statewide Community Participation Plan that outlines the public exhibition requirements for certain developments.

View applications on exhibition

For active development applications contact the Assessing Officer by emailing council@begavalley.nsw.gov.au, attention to the Assessing Officer, and include the following information:

  • Property address
  • Lot / Section / DP (if known)
  • Name
  • Contact details
  • Email address
