Bega – Bega Recreation Ground

On the edge of the Bega CBD, the Bega Recreation Ground is predominantly used for Rugby League and is one of two regional sites.

Bega - George Griffin Memorial Oval

Built on the site of the old Bega Saleyards, George Griffin Memorial Ova has a turf wicket for cricket and in winter months converts to a soccer ground.

Bega - Roy Howard Playing Field

Located in the shadows of the Bega River Bridge, the Roy Howard Playing Field is predominantly used through summer for junior and lower grade cricket matches, and in winter for AFL games.

Regional Sporting Complex Master Plans

Master Plans have been developed for Council’s two Regional Level sporting facilities – the Bega and Pambula Sporting Complexes.

A master plan provides a vision for a site, identifying what it should look like and how it should function into the future. It establishes a strong and consistent direction and a framework for ongoing improvement.
